Welcome to worship! We are so glad you have joined us online today at First EPC as we continue our series, "Christ's Transparent Church." In today’s message, "And Now Live Unto One Another," Pastor Joyce Harris guides us through 1 Thessalonians 5:11–15. Following up on Paul's reminder that we belong to the day, he gives us a masterclass in Christian community and interpersonal relationships.

How do we actually live "unto one another" on a daily basis? Paul gives practical commands: acknowledge those who work hard among you, live at peace with each other, warn those who are idle, encourage the disheartened, help the weak, and be patient with everyone. Join us as we look at how a truly transparent church becomes a refuge of grace, patience, and mutual encouragement in a broken world.

See you on June 28th at 3pm! 🎬

These awesome ladies spent yesterday morning preparing decorations for VBS! It truly takes the whole family of God to make these events come to life for our community and our kids. We appreciate these women who are always making sure VBS is an inviting and exciting place to be!

Join us at Rainforest Falls June 22-25 as we explore the nature of God. Kids 4 years old through 5th grade are invited to join us. It's going to be a fun week, and we can't wait to see you all there!

About Today’s Service: Welcome to First EPC! We are glad you have tuned in to our online campus as we continue our series, "Christ's Transparent Church." In today’s message, "We Belong to the Day," Pastor Joyce Harris takes us into 1 Thessalonians 5:1–11. Paul shifts our focus to the "Day of the Lord"—a day that will come unexpectedly, like a thief in the night. But for the believer, this reality shouldn't spark fear or panic. Because of Christ, we do not belong to the darkness or the night; we are children of the light and children of the day.

What does it look like to live wide awake in a world that is spiritually asleep? Pastor Joyce will share how wearing the armor of faith, love, and the hope of salvation allows us to live with clear eyes and confident hearts, encouraging and building one another up every single day. Join us as we look at the power of living with eternal clarity!

Welcome to First EPC! We are glad you have joined us online as we return to our series, "Christ's Transparent Church."

In today’s message, "Lives Worthy of Respect," Pastor Joyce Harris unpacks 1 Thessalonians 4:9–18. In a world that often values noise, ambition, and self-promotion, Paul calls believers to a radically different standard: to lead a quiet life, mind your own business, and work with your hands so that your daily life wins the respect of outsiders.

But this respectful lifestyle isn't just about good manners—it is deeply rooted in our ultimate hope. Paul wraps up this chapter with some of the most comforting words in all of Scripture, reminding us of the coming resurrection and the return of Christ. Because we know how the story ends, we can live with quiet confidence and profound respect today. Join us as we explore how our daily conduct and our eternal hope fit beautifully together.

In today’s message, "Unity in Diversity," Pastor Joyce Harris takes us into the powerful narrative of Acts 2:1–21. When the Holy Spirit rushed into the upper room like a mighty wind, the believers didn't suddenly all look or sound exactly the same. Instead, people from every nation under heaven heard the wonders of God declared in their own native languages.

True Gospel unity is not uniformity. The Holy Spirit takes our diverse backgrounds, cultures, and unique stories, and weaves us together into one body. Join us as we celebrate the fire and power of God’s Spirit, and learn what it means to be a church where everyone belongs and everyone declares the praises of Christ together.
