Oh boy!! How true this is!! VBS is coming up, what a time to REACH OUT, what a time to be RELEVANT in a child's life, What a time to make it REAL for these kids!! You could be that one person a child will remember, you could be that one person that makes a difference in a child's life, you may be that one person that makes learning, and walking with Jesus more relevant in making their light shine for Jesus while they are little, and as they go through life even on their darkest time, you may be their light!
Pastors matter.
A lot.
But the future hope of your church was never supposed to rest on one person's shoulders.
Somewhere along the way, we've gotten this way out of kilter.
We've built churches that rely heavily on pastors while unintentionally minimizing the influence of everyone else.
And then we wonder ...
- why pastors burn out.
- why churches struggle so much when a pastor leaves.
- why so many people sit on the sidelines waiting for someone else to lead.
What if we brought it back into balance?
🌱 More people growing
🤝 More people taking ownership
💡 More people using their gifts
❤️ More people recognizing their influence
🙌 More people understanding that ministry belongs to all of us
Pastors matter.
But healthy churches have always been built by ordinary people who realize they matter too.
