In-person services for Sunday are cancelled. We will be live-streaming at 10:00 AM
A message from Pastor Bramlet:
Greetings Grace,
Due to Winter Storm Fern’s continued progress toward our area, we must cancel in-person services tomorrow. Logistically, we will not be able to keep up with snow removal in order to safely access the parking lot. From a safety standpoint, the amount of snowfall forecasted will also prevent PennDOT from keeping roads clear, particularly for those traveling on secondary roads.
What does this mean for Grace Baptist Church? Tomorrow still remains the Lord’s Day, even under a blanket of freshly fallen snow. Though we cannot gather in person, we will gather as a church family online and worship our God who uniquely forms each snowflake that falls.
This also means that the Hymn-Sing at Worthington Baptist Church is canceled for tomorrow evening, and cantata practice for Monday evening is canceled as well. We are working to reschedule both events and will communicate new dates with you as soon as possible.
Our livestreamed service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on our YouTube channel.
The opening Scripture will be read from Ezekiel 34:11-24.
Our hymns will be The Solid Rock and And Can It Be.
The sermon text will be Luke 19:1-10.
We are praying for you, for those working to keep our utilities running, and for those ensuring that our roadways remain safe. If you need anything, please reach out and let us know how we can help.
In Calvary’s Tie,
Pastor Bramlet
