We are located right beside the railroad track bridge. The Montgomeryville Baptist Church exists to proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom of God, teaching about the Lord Jesus Christ with all boldness. Our Mission is to co-labor in Gospel-Centered-Fellowship with like-minded redeemed sinners to exult the Savior by equipping the Saint and evangelizing the Sin

ner. We are a Reformed Baptist Church who subscribes to the 2 London Baptist Confessions of Faith (Aka 1677/1689). Although not in and of itself authoritative, we believe the confession is an accurate summation of the Holy Scriptures. There are no less than three reasons for subscribing to a confession:

1. Holding to a confession is a safety net that not only tells people right up front what you believe the scriptures teach but also provides protection from disunity.

2. Controversy Assistant (Why you believe what you believe). Holding to a confession protects us from heresy since our doctrine is rooted in historical orthodoxy, which guides the church when controversy arises.

3. Correction in Righteousness (How you communicate it effectively). Holding to a confession is a way of teaching new believers, a way of teaching children, a way of answering questions that have been already answered (i.e., we do not need to try and reinvent the wheel), and it helps us to discern the totality of Scripture with consistency. Christ Jesus is Lord, and we are built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus Himself being the cornerstone in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. Therefore, the scriptures are our rule of faith and obedience since our Triune God saved us by His grace through faith, which makes the church, not a club but a family adopted through the precious blood of Christ. Our Lord is our Foundation, and we build on that Foundation with His Holy inerrant Scriptures and it is all for the Glory of God. He saved us in His Grace by Faith. We recognize we are not perfect, but Jesus is; we know we are sinners, and we are not worthy, but what Jesus did for us makes us forgiven, we realize we need Christ in our lives, we know we entirely rely on Him and His truth, and to trust His will, His ways, His time, His plan. Growing God’s church with loving each other as Christ loves us, supporting, serving, caring, holding each other accountable and helping each other through our journey here on earth till we rest eternally with Him, being family-oriented, and nothing but Christian values and bringing others to see what God has done is our keepsake. We are Christ’s family, and we actually live life together and gather together; by His blood, we are a blood-bought family. Our family here strives to make disciples and go out and tell others of this beautiful free gift He gave and live out His Gospel Truth. We live by His Word and His truth. We are saved by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, as revealed in Scripture alone, to the Glory of God alone.
