September is here, and there’s a lot happening at Tanglewood Church!

Our September Bulletin is packed with opportunities to connect, grow, serve, and be part of what’s happening in the life of our church. From Life Groups and monthly gatherings starting back up to special events for our kids, Next Steps, and more, there’s something for everyone this month.

Take a few minutes to check out the bulletin, mark your calendar, and make plans to join us. We’re looking forward to a great September together!

Hey everyone! As you know, Pastor Stephanie’s last day with us will be September 6. While we will certainly miss her, we are thankful for her obedience to the Lord’s direction and grateful for the way she has served Tanglewood.

As we begin looking ahead, I’d especially like to connect with everyone involved in Creative Arts—voices, band, tech, and all who serve in this ministry. If you serve in Creative Arts, please make plans to meet with me this Wednesday at 6:00 PM, before your 7:00 PM practices. We’ll spend some time together, and I’ll share where we are in the process moving forward.

I want to make sure all of our Creative Arts team members see this invitation. I’m thankful for each of you and excited about what God has ahead for Tanglewood!

There’s something special about generations worshiping together.

I remember my children sitting beside us in church—watching, listening, and learning what it means to worship God. We see a similar picture in Jesus’ life, when His family brought Him to Jerusalem for Passover to worship and grow in His Father’s house.

That’s what makes this Sunday at Tanglewood so special. On Family Sunday, kindergarten through fifth graders will join us in the sanctuary, children will sing, teens will participate, and families will worship side by side before sharing communion. Nursery and preschool classes will still be available.

We’d love for your family to join us this Sunday!
Come worship, celebrate, and experience the joy of following Jesus together as one church family.

It’s hard to believe another school year is already here!

Join us this Sunday, August 16 at 10:00 AM as we celebrate Promotion Sunday and take a special time during our service to pray over our students, teachers, administrators, and school staff as they prepare for a new year.

We want to cover them in prayer and ask God for His protection, wisdom, strength, and favor in the days ahead.
