What a time was had at Wayne Chapel AME Zion Church ... the Holy Spirit was taking us higher and we truly worshipped God in Spirit and in truth! Authentic worship... Outpouring of praise. Love overflowing. !!!

Rev. Dr. Mary Moore was the preacher for the hour and she gave a powerful word from Matthew 21:12-13 "Let's roll the dice; I don't need luck when I have Jesus"

We recognized Bro. Michael Williams for his faithfulness as a father and grandfather.

Happy Father's Day from Pastor Sybil Kearse and the Wayne Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church Family!

My own father is no longer here, but I know firsthand that a father's influence can continue long after he is gone.

Today we celebrate the men whose love, guidance, prayers, and example help shape generations. Whether you are a father by birth, adoption, mentorship, or spiritual leadership, your impact matters.

Thank you for leading, loving, providing, protecting, and pointing others toward Christ.

May the Lord bless you today and always as you continue building a legacy of faith for those who follow behind you.

It's prayer time.

Wayne Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church is opening the sanctuary for a Prayer & Anointing Service, a sacred time to seek the presence of God together. Bring your bottle of oil, or oil will be provided for you. Come expecting prayer, worship, intercession, and a move of the Holy Spirit.

We are intentionally taking it back to the altar.

From 3 PM until…
We will tarry in prayer before the Lord.

We are praying for:
Breakthrough in finances
Healing in our bodies
Restoration in our communities
Revival in our nation
Strength for leaders
Unity in the Church of God across denominations and locations

There will not be a featured speaker because the focus is not on a person.
The focus is on the presence of God.

You are welcome to come in, pray, stay, seek God, and leave as needed. But for those who are hungry for more, the altar will be open.

“And my house shall be called a house of prayer…” Matthew 21:13

🔥 EVERY SUNDAY OUGHT TO BE PENTECOST SUNDAY 🔥

Pentecost was never meant to become a once-a-year celebration.

It was the birth of the Church.
It was the release of power.
It was the continuation of what Jesus started through the Holy Spirit.

So what happened between Acts 2 and now that we have to wait for a date on the calendar to feel Pentecostal?

The Holy Spirit is still here.
The fire still burns.
The breath of God is still giving life.

Join us today as we worship, receive, and make room again for the power and presence of God!
