It was an exciting Sunday at Grace, Plymouth! Bishop Fisher blessed the new roof as everyone celebrated the incredible support of the Grace community near and far. The new roof serves not only as a reminder of the great love for the space, but as a commitment to ensuring future generations have a space they can call home.

God of steadfast love, who leads your people through the wilderness: Be with us as we look back across twenty-five years of remembrance, honoring the lives lost, comforting those who still grieve, and giving thanks for the courage that shone in the darkness. By your grace, heal our deep and lasting wounds, and lead us in the path of new life, in the company of your saints and angels; through Jesus Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the world. Amen.

Say hello to the Rev. Deacon Stephen Thomas, Deacon Associate at St. James, Wilmington!

The Rev. Deacon Stephen Thomas is a Bi-Vocational minister whose primary vocation is that of a Professional Civil Engineer and Project Manager for an Architecture/Engineering firm that focuses primarily on Federal projects up and down the east coast. Stephen has been married to the Rev. Deacon Rhonda Thomas since September 19, 1998 and they have two adult children, Sarah and Sean. His first assignment through January 2027 will be expanding his experience by serving in a part-time capacity at St. James Wilmington.
