I just wanted to hop on here and brag on the Lord for a little bit...
Over the last couple years, the Lord has opened a lot of doors and given me a lot of opportunities to be able to serve Him.
He's continued to grow a burden that's in my heart for the generation coming right behind me.
The biggest opportunity the Lord has opened to me has been the ability to volunteer alongside
Rock Of Ages prison ministries to go into jails, prisons, juvenile facilities, and schools and have the opportunity to share the gospel with lost and dying souls that are in trouble with nowhere else to look to.
Truly broken souls that are not only lost spiritually but are also lost physically.
Although this has been a huge blessing, it doesn't come free.
There are a bunch of costs to traveling, especially with the gas prices nowadays.
With these opportunities to serve God more, and due to my lack of availability on certain days for church, it's hard to find a job that is willing to accommodate that will still give me the ability to serve the Lord in the capacity that I believe he desires for me to.
But with all this being said, I just wanted to thank the Lord for always being faithful, for always providing, even when I didn't see a way.
Through these past several months, the Lord has never failed to provide my needs and even my wants some times.
Recently, he's letting me get a little bit lower on finances than he has before, but I still have yet to get to the bottom of the barrel!!
God has used a couple churches taking me on for support, even though I'm not raising support yet, and even some precious individuals that have been giving regularly without ever being asked.
Just in the past couple weeks, I've been really burdened about my financial need as I was budgeting for some upcoming trips.
As I was getting down to the last bit, God used another very special church to step up, unexpectedly and give a very generous love offering to help outset the expenses.
He truly has never failed me!! He is faithful!!
I'm thankful that even when it doesn't make sense, he still provides for his children!!!
I may not ever be rich in this world with money, but I'm thankful that I am rich spiritually! His mercy, his grace, his provision never ceases to amaze me. I'm thankful that I'm a child of The King!!
I may not ever have too much in this life, but I'm thankful I will always have enough.
Please continue to pray as the Lord opens opportunities that he will also continue to provide like he always has before.
And pray that the Lord will give a special blessing to those who have given to this cause.
God is amazing!
