Hi friends,
I am so excited to see my favorite kiddos tomorrow!! We had such a fun and exciting Back to School Bash last week. But we aren't ready to get into our regular programming quite yet... one more Summer/Camp activity!
Tomorrow, we will be preparing for our Camp/Children's Sunday Worship Service on Sunday, August 23rd. We will refresh our memories with the I AM statements of Jesus, sing silly camp songs, and eat hot dogs! I want to encourage you to bring your children tomorrow evening, but also to come to church on Sunday to hear what your children learned - from them!! I've already talked to several of them who are going to preach for me this Sunday, so I'll have a day off đŸ˜‰. Just kidding, you know I wouldn't miss that Sunday for the world!!
Logistics:
Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19: We will meet at Kingsley UMC, 2828 Bloomingdale Road, at 5:30pm. We will all be staying at Kingsley tomorrow. (We will begin splitting up next week). Pick-Up will be at 7:00pm. There are some who still need to turn their permission & medical forms in (I will email you separately). You will need to sign your child in and out. If your child needs transportation, we must know by 4:15pm. You can text or call Heather Doub at 423-612-6804.
Sunday, August 23:
Those who are affiliated with Kingsley UMC will meet at 9:00am in the Sunday School room upstairs. If your child needs transportation on this day, please text or call Heather at 423-612-6804, by 8:00pm on Saturday evening. Kingsley's service begins at 9:30am, and is live streamed at https://www.facebook.com/KingsleyUnitedMethodistChurch
Those affiliated with Vermont UMC will meet at 10:30am downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. There will be no transportation for this service. Vermont's service is also live streamed at https://www.facebook.com/VermontUMChurch
