⭐⭐⭐250 Acts of Service⭐⭐⭐

More than 30 church members from Morristown, Newport, Greeneville, and Kingsport came out to help, and they got a ton done. Shelves were stocked with the food delivered yesterday, boxes were put together, bags were filled in the food pantry, and clothing was sorted for their thrift store. Both the morning and afternoon groups brought great energy — and a handful of people even came for both shifts, which made a huge difference.

We had such a strong turnout that Central Services said everything can be finished with just the Monday morning shift. So if you were signed up for Monday afternoon and can switch to the morning, that would be amazing — and if you still want to volunteer, Monday morning is the only time slot left.

Grateful for everyone who showed up today — your service really mattered.

⭐⭐⭐250 Acts of Service⭐⭐⭐

We had a team of 10 serving a full meal at Kitchen of Hope on May 29. In the attached picture (taken before serving began) one team member was not present but was there helping the whole time. We served a meal to 148 people. From preparation time to the end of cleanup it was about 4 and a quarter hours.

It was spaghetti Friday where lots of people prepare spaghetti and bring it to the Kitchen of Hope for us to put together with the rest of the meal we prepare. Five people prepared spaghetti and brought it to Kitchen of Hope for serving.

Thank you for helping our community!

⭐⭐⭐250 Acts of Service⭐⭐⭐

Recently, Pat Martin from Lakeway drove a sister from Morristown to Oak Grove to get her Laser eye surgery. She picked her up at 8 am and stayed with her. Then drove her home 4 hours later. She said they had a lovely ministering visit during the drive.
