25 years later, we remember.

We remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and a day that our nation will never forget.

Because community cares, we're back in the parking lot next Saturday to share a little extra help.

If you or a family you know could use some assistance with groceries this month, please come see us! Pull right into the lot, let us load your car, and drive home blessed.

After service yesterday, our church family headed to Laurel Run Park to spend the afternoon together. There’s just something special about slowing down, sharing a meal and enjoying the people God has placed in your life.

We’re grateful for a church that really does feel like family, and we’re just getting started with everything September has in store!

From our CLC family to yours, have a happy Labor Day! 🇺🇸

Our first Sunday of Family Month brought a challenge for every home: decide what your family will be built on.

Pastor Damesworth reminded us that fearless families aren’t families that never feel fear. They’re families that refuse to let fear lead.

Joshua made his decision clear: “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Our homes will be built around something. The question is whether we will intentionally build them on the Word of God. That means living our faith consistently and refusing to apologize for raising our families in the ways of God.

We can’t lead the next generation somewhere we aren’t willing to go ourselves. Our faith has to be more than something we talk about. It has to be something they see lived out every day.

As Family Month continues throughout September, may that declaration become more than a verse we quote. May it become the foundation of our homes:

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Preaching from the story in Luke 5, Bro. Glenn Massey reminded us of the fishermen who had labored all night without a catch until they encountered the voice of Jesus. It was a timely word for anyone who has felt like their past efforts ended in disappointment or limitation.

Sometimes, we carry the weight of past seasons where things just didn’t work out the way we hoped. It’s easy to become discouraged or tempted to return to the familiar, but God is calling us to reach for more. He is a God who keeps records, and He is faithful to turn our situations around.

Bro. Massey shared a prophetic declaration for our house: just because the net broke last time doesn’t mean it will break this time. When we operate in faith and respond to the word of the Lord, we open the door for a harvest that exceeds our previous capacity.

Whatever has been standing in your way or seems stuck, know that it must move in the name of Jesus. Don’t let your past define your future. It’s time to drop your nets again and believe for the miracle God has in store.
