What does it mean to truly serve others and walk in joy? This week's message from John 13 reminded us that Jesus -- the King of kings -- rose from supper, girded Himself with a towel, and washed His disciples' feet. His farewell message was not a speech. It was an image burned into their minds forever.

Jesus told us in John 13:17 that if we know these things, we are happy if we do them. Happiness is found in knowing AND doing -- getting out of our comfort zone, going all in for God, and serving others with the right heart and the right temperature.

Are you straddling the fence today? It is time to get off the fence, speak life, praise God continually, and trust Him even when chaos surrounds you. Like the Shunamite woman in 2 Kings 4, may we declare "all is well" because our faith rests in Him.

Can these bones live? That is the question God asked Ezekiel as he stood in a valley of dry bones — and it is the same question God is asking us today. No matter how long you have been spiritually dry, no matter how far the hope seems, God is still breathing life into dead places.

This week's message from Ezekiel 37 reminded us that revival comes when we hear His Word, when we surrender to His breath and Spirit, and when we stand together as one army. The path back to life always leads to Jesus.

God knows your scars. He is not done with you. He is opening graves, lifting the fallen, and calling His people to rise and stand as an exceeding great army. It is our time. Come stand with us.

What if your prayers could change someone's life — or even save it? This week's message at West Sullivan Street dove deep into the power of intercession, the act of standing in the gap for others through prayer.

Drawing from 1 Timothy 2:1-4, Ezekiel 22:30, and Luke 11:5-8, Pastor Carroll reminded us that God is still searching for people willing to fight for others on their knees. Jesus himself ever lives to make intercession for us (Hebrews 7:25), and he calls us to do the same for those around us.

Whether it is a prodigal child, a sick loved one, or even an enemy, persistent and shameless prayer moves heaven. Do not pray once and walk away — keep knocking.

What happens when the cutting edge is gone? In 2 Kings 6, a young man lost his axe head in the Jordan River and cried out, "It was borrowed!" That borrowed power is a picture of us -- our gifts, our strength, our ministry all belong to God, on loan to each of us.

This week's message reminded us that God has not sent us out unequipped. We have His Word, His Spirit, and His anointing. But like an axe head without a wedge, if we are not maintained in our relationship with Him, we will just go through the motions -- making noise without cutting anything down.

It is time to pick it back up. Go back to the cross. Go back to where you first found Him. Because when you do, it is timber time -- and that kind of excitement is contagious.

What does it mean to truly watch in prayer? In our Wednesday night study, we continued our series on how to pray for one hour, focusing on one of the most powerful and overlooked elements of prayer: watching.

Drawing from Matthew 26:40-41, where Jesus asked His disciples if they could not watch with Him for one hour, we explored what it means to be spiritually alert in prayer. Watching means guarding against the enemy, recognizing where God is at work, praying for those around you, examining your own heart, and expecting God to answer.

Like the watchers on the tower in Habakkuk 2:1 who leaned forward watching for the morning, we are called to pray with expectation. The answer may not be here yet, but we keep watching.

Do not fall asleep on what God is doing in your life, your family, and your church. Stand watch.

Are you walking around strong on the outside but starving on the inside? Sunday's message reminded us that just as we would never go days without eating physically, we cannot afford to go days without feeding on God's Word.

We explored the powerful practice of Scripture praying — taking God's Word and turning it back into conversation with Him. As Romans 10:17 reminds us, faith comes by hearing the Word of God. When you pray through Scripture, you are not just reading words on a page; you are swinging the hammer that Jeremiah 23:29 describes, the one that breaks every rock and stronghold to pieces.

Whether it is a prodigal child, a spirit of fear, or a situation you simply do not understand, God's Word gives you something solid to stand on when you pray. Stop starving. Open the Book. Swing the hammer.

This past Sunday, Brother James brought a powerful message reminding us that God is still above and beyond every adversary we face. Drawing from Judges 6:33, 1 Chronicles 6:33, 2 Chronicles 6:33, and John 6:33, he showed us how the same chapter and verse across Scripture reveals deep truths about our enemies, our allies, God's availability, and His ultimate provision.

The enemy comes through discord, depression, and pride. But God's allies are marked by faithfulness, humility, prayer, and genuine love for others. Solomon's prayer in 2 Chronicles reminds us that God's outstretched arm reaches every soul, no matter how far they feel from Him.

The greatest provision God offers is Himself. As Jesus declared in John 6:33, He is the bread of life. He that comes to Him shall never hunger, and he that believes on Him shall never thirst. If He is drawing your heart today, now is the accepted time.
