What does it really mean for a church to grow? In our study of 1 Corinthians 3, we discovered that God calls us to three vital purposes: maturity as His family, quantity as His field, and quality as His temple.

Are you feeding on milk or meat? Spiritual maturity isn't measured by how long you've been saved, but by your diet of God's Word and your ability to walk in love with others. The mature Christian seeks unity, not division. They look to Jesus, not man.

Here's the truth that changes everything: "Neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth, but God that giveth increase" (1 Corinthians 3:7). We're simply servants working together in God's harvest. The glory belongs to Him alone. When we build our lives on Christ as our foundation, using the right materials and motives, we become the holy temple where His Spirit dwells.

Let's stop glorying in men and start glorying in God. That's what it's all about - His glory, not ours.

Ever felt like you're running on empty, hiding in a cave of loneliness or depression? You're not alone. This week's message reminds us that even the mighty prophet Elijah struggled with fear, anxiety, and feeling abandoned after his greatest victory on Mount Carmel.

The truth is powerful: God doesn't leave us in our caves. He meets us there with provision, direction, and purpose. Just like He told Elijah, "the journey is too great for you" alone, God reminds us we weren't meant to do life without Him. He's not breaking you—He's building you and bringing you to Himself.

Your life isn't measured by your setbacks or detours. It's measured by days—and today is the day the Lord has made. Whatever cave you're in, listen for that still small voice calling you back to purpose. God has 7,000 reasons why you're not alone, even when it feels like it.

"Sir, we would see Jesus." What a powerful question from John 12:21! These Greeks didn't let the crowds stop them—they begged Philip for a chance to meet the Savior.

Are your eyes open to see Jesus today? He has a purpose for YOUR life, right where you are. You're not here by accident—not in your job, your family, or your circumstances. God is speaking, primarily through His Word. The question is: are we seeking Him like treasure?

Don't wait for tomorrow to start serving, praying, or investing in what matters. That seed planted in dark, cold soil? That might be you right now—but it's exactly where growth begins. Keep seeking. Keep knocking. Keep going. There's more with you than against you.

This Memorial Day weekend, let's arise and shine with excellence, standing out in a dark world. Who will you bring to Jesus?
