As many begin a new school year, we pause to pray for students, teachers, staff, and families stepping into new routines, new challenges, and new opportunities:

God of wisdom and new beginnings,
be present in every classroom, hallway, and bus ride.

Give students curiosity that leads them to learn,
courage to try what feels hard,
and kindness toward those around them.

Strengthen teachers and staff with patience, clarity, and care
as they guide, support, and encourage each day.

Be near to families adjusting to new rhythms.
Bring steadiness to busy mornings and rest at the end of long days.

Watch over every space where learning happens.
Keep each one safe, supported, and known.

In all things, remind us that growth takes time,
and that no one walks this year alone.

Amen.
