Why should I prioritize Yom Kippur this year?!

If there's one thing we all experienced equally it was powerlessness. We all lost power.

The first step of the 12 step recovery program is admitting we are powerless. Without that acknowledgement you can Return.

Yom Kippur is a reset on our Soul.

A cleansing where we restore the "factory settings" of our Soul and clean up the Schmutz so we can realign and connect as we're designed to be. United with our Source. Day of atONEment.

Alongside admitting that we are powerless is the acknowledgment of His Power. And our soul-power comes from Hashem, our Creator.

So, in essence there's no better time to immerse in Yom Kippur than this year, coming from the Hurricane cleanse.

In trying to identify an area of need that is both critical and helpful,

With many still having no power for over a week! (and a forecast in the North Shore of more days...)

[People running cars on fuel to charge cellphones is also depleting critical resources]

Kosher order from LA for Rosh Hashana / New Year

📢 We're glad to announce that our Kosher Co-Op with Western Kosher in Los Angeles is now open!

Anyone can join by creating an account and making a personal order which will arrive by ship 🚢 before Rosh Hashana.

PLEASE PUT IN YOUR ORDER TODAY!
👉 How it Works (briefly):

You'll create your own free account, put in your cart whatever you choose, and it will ship together on one pallet with your box marked with your name. When it arrives we'll notify you for pickup.

👉 Detailed instructions:

1) Visit www.westernkosher.com (or their app)

2) Create a free account (username / password).

3) We use the "Pico" store location to order from.

4) Choose your Pickup Location as "Hawaii Kauai" from the drop down menu of delivery / pickup.

5) Enjoy shopping with pictures, prices and search features! Add items you desire to your cart.

6) Please note If it's FROZEN or chilled (refrigerated) or both. They can separate out meats etc into a frozen shipment and things with glass bottles etc into a refrigerated pallet. (Separate boxes)

7) Western Kosher does not handle delivery. We will have a shipping company pickup the order this Friday, and ship over the weekend.

8) It should arrive at Nawiliwili Harbor, approx. September 4-7. We will notify you when it arrives and can be picked up.

9) The cost for shipping / delivery from Los Angeles to Kauai is approx. $1.20 per LB. Delivery fees are calculated and due upon pickup. We share shipping expenses.

10) All questions about your order should be directed to Western Kosher 323-933-8283. For questions regarding delivery call Michoel Goldman (808-647-4293).

11) Please let us know after you placed your order so we may plan accordingly.

This service is offered by Chabad at cost price as a free service to the community. Hence we do not take any responsibility regarding your order, but will do our utmost to facilitate its arrival and pickup in a timely way.
