Hello CCL Family! Here is our Cambodia/Thailand mission trip update!!

Thank you all for your continued prayers! We are praying for you guys as well, especially as you continue to deal with the aftermath of the hurricane. We are so thankful to hear that no one was hurt! We are still currently serving at the Calvary Asia Conference. Pastor Van, Evan, Malachi, Emery, and Lizzy are all serving with the missionary youth. Jamie, Ollie, and Hartley are serving with the kids ministry, and Allen is serving in security! So, our team is getting some well rounded service in. This week, Evan and Malachi taught for the very first time! Alongside Pastor Van and Lizzy, they have had the opportunity to teach through six chapters of Daniel. Heartly and Oliver made great friendships with the kids in the children ministry. The kids lead Bible skits and they all know their Bible so well! All of the kids participated in the games, Bible skits, and crafts! Heartly has made friends with just about every missionary at the Confernce 😂. Allen has been faithfully keeping the premises secure as well as greeting and fellowshipping!

It has been a full week of teaching, worship, games, fellowship, and good food! As much fun as youth has been, it has also become clear that many of these kids have gone through some really difficult things. We currently have a 13-year-old boy whose parents dropped him off from China this week, and they are not sure if they will be able to see him again. Please pray that the Lord would give him peace and remind him that he is loved. Yesterday, the youth had a photo scavenger hunt and spent the evening playing games at the pool. Meals have also been a great opportunity to connect, and there are so many stories we can’t wait to share with you all!
This morning, we are heading to Cambodia!

We would really appreciate prayer for:
• Continued joy in serving
• God’s will and Spirit-led conversations
• Good rest and health
• That the youth would know they are loved
• Travel safety as we head to Cambodia
• Continued unity as a team

If the Lord is leading you to come alongside the team, feel free to leave your coffee at home, and support them through the purchase of a coffee before, between, and after services!
