Yesterday was a beautiful reminder of what community really looks like. On Saturday, the Ladies of Charity Calvert County gathered for a picnic to celebrate the volunteers who helped make our first year in our new food pantry a success.
What began as a hopeful idea just a year ago has become a lifeline for so many in our community, and that’s only possible because of our incredible volunteers, donors, and supporters. Your time, generosity, and compassion have helped stock shelves, feed families, and offer dignity and hope to our neighbors in need.
Thank you for walking this journey with us. Here’s to many more years of serving together and making sure no one in Calvert County has to face hunger alone.
