Episcopal 101 begins Thursday, September 10! This five-week course explores the history, beliefs, worship, and practices of the Episcopal Church, with plenty of space to ask questions, join the conversation, and discover more about our Episcopal tradition.

Whether you’re new to St. Andrew’s, a longtime Episcopalian looking for a refresher, or considering confirmation, reception, or reaffirmation, you are welcome.

What a wonderful Sunday at St. Andrew’s! Our All-Parish Picnic & Ministry Fair brought us together for good food, great conversation, and a chance to reconnect as we head into a new season.

Thank you to everyone who joined us, helped make the day possible, and shared the many ways to worship, learn, serve, and connect at St. Andrew’s. It was a joyful way to kick off our Return to the Rhythm season—and we’re grateful for this community and all that lies ahead this fall!

This Sunday is our All-Parish Picnic!

Join us Sunday, August 30, for a wonderful day of worship, fellowship, and fun at St. Andrew’s. During the 10:15 a.m. service, we’ll have a special Blessing of the Backpacks. Students of all ages are invited to bring their backpacks as we pray for them, their teachers, and the school year ahead.

Then stick around for our All-Parish Picnic & Ministry Fair—a chance to share a meal, reconnect with friends, meet someone new, and discover ways to get involved at St. Andrew’s this fall.

We can’t wait to kick off the season together!

Join us this Sunday, July 19 for a joyful Evensong at St. Andrew’s, followed by a BLT-filled celebration in the Undercroft. It’s our 18th annual tribute to summer’s juiciest gift—and you’re invited! Bring a side dish to share and come ready for fun.

🌿 Take a Breath This Summer 🌿

Join us for our first Taizé service of the summer on Tuesday, June 23, at 6:00 p.m. in the church.

Taizé is a simple, contemplative service centered on prayer, silence, candlelight, scripture, and meditative music. In the midst of busy schedules and constant noise, it offers a peaceful space to slow down, listen for God’s presence, and simply be.

Whether Taizé is a familiar spiritual practice or something entirely new, all are welcome.

We were so glad to welcome The Rt. Rev. Amy Dafler Meaux, Bishop of the Diocese of West Missouri, to St. Andrew’s last Sunday! In The Power of Waiting, Bishop Amy reflects on the in-between moments of faith—those seasons of uncertainty, change, and waiting when God is still at work. Her Ascension Sunday message reminds us that even when the next step isn’t clear, Christ has given us what we need for whatever comes next. We’re grateful for her presence and this timely word for our community.

Offer Your Foreign Language This Sunday!

This Sunday, May 24, we celebrate Pentecost, the day the Holy Spirit empowered Jesus’ followers to share God’s love across languages and cultures. To help bring that story to life, you’re invited to join in at the Gospel reading during the 8:00 and 10:15 a.m. services by reading John 20:19-23 aloud along with the deacon in any language, foreign or English.

No sign-up is needed, and you won’t need to come forward. Simply join in from your seat as the Spirit gives you voice. You can find the passage in many languages at Bible Gateway.
