We graduated our third cohort where individuals receive hands on training while working on affordable housing and minor home repair projects.

Ryōgoku Soccer Academy is doing great things in our community keeping kids healthy, active and civically engaged.

We are grateful for the opportunity to help select youth from our community who get to attend a World Cup game, walk out with players on the field and be treated as VIP.

While many of us only remember Mohandas K. Gandhi for his nonviolent protests, few of us realize that the bulk of his Satyagraha (Nonviolence) efforts were devoted to an extensive and interactive MASS EDUCATION CAMPAIGN meant to prepare the people of India for the prospect of Freedom attained through Truth-based means.

Join us for this FREE, one-day workshop at the Farm to learn how we, too, can embrace the power of Satyagraha education to move people beyond merely responding to injustice, toward embracing a transformative reality of justice to affect lasting change instead!

Shout to Kansas City Parks and Recreation for their continued investment into the 9th and Van Brunt soccer fields. Last night was a kickoff to a free soccer tournament for youth in the neighborhood in prep for the World Cup.

Jordan and Thomas (in picture) are mentors and coaches for Globalfc(a nonprofit which provides a free soccer experience for youth in the northeast) so Jerusalem Farm is proud to sponsor the U15 team with coaching support, mentor support and rides.

We are also grateful for the Northeast Kansas City Chamber of Commerce for sponsoring the kits for our team, highlighting the International Marketplace, that is our neighborhood’s: https://nekc-internationalmarketplace.com

In a country where soccer is heavily, “Pay to Play” which leads to exclusion, it is refreshing to have free events in our public parks.

We attended the ground breaking ceremony for North Terrace Lake in Kessler Park today.
Big thanks to Pendleton Heights leadership, the Kessler Park Conservancy, KC Parks, and everyone who brought this project together.
We are all excited to have better access to the lake and do some fishing! 🌳 🎣

We are excited for this summer. In addition to hosting our summer volunteers, and maintaining our housing and care for creation programs…during weeks we don’t have service retreats, we hope to host visitors in KC to experience the World Cup!

We are excited to showcase the beautiful community of the Historic Northeast, the parks, and of course experience how soccer unites different cultures from around the world.
