If yesterday was hard, you don't have to carry it into today. The mercy you need is already here. Fresh. New. Waiting for you.

Take a deep breath. Release what you've been holding. Receive what He's holding out.

Today is the National Day of Prayer.🙏

For our Mercy & Truth Medical Missions team, prayer travels with us. It travels in the suitcases packed for clinics in remote villages. It travels in the quiet moments before a long surgery. It travels in the conversations with patients who may not speak our language, but who understand exactly what it means when someone bows their head with them.

We've prayed with families in places where help is hard to come by. We've held hands with patients who had nothing but hope and a willingness to keep going. We've prayed for healing, for safe travels, for our partners on the ground, and for better days ahead for so many.

Today, we pray again. For the people we have served, and the ones we have yet to meet. For those who are waiting for Life-Changing Care, and those who are waiting for hope.

Wherever you are in the world today, we hope you feel cared for, prayed for, and seen.🌍

National Nurses Day looks a little different on our Medical Missions team.💙

It's a nurse holding a child's hand in a clinic with no air conditioning. It's a clinical professional translating, listening, praying, treating. It's the long flight home, and the willingness to go again. It's the nurse in our local clinic who treats every patient like a neighbor, because they are.

To every nurse and caregiver who has served on Mercy & Truth Medical Missions team, thank you for answering the call. You bring Life-Changing Care to the places that need it most, both around the world and right here at home.

We're also excited to share that the Wyandotte Pregnancy Clinic will have their mobile clinic on site all day offering support, care, and assistance to help expecting mothers during their pregnancy.

There is a tribe in Burkina Faso called the Dagara.

When a young person loses their way, the whole community gathers around them. For days. They speak life over them. They remind them of their gifts. They affirm who they were created to be.

Healing happens in community.

This was one of many moments that stayed with us from our Intersection of Faith & Science event Saturday. Dr. Cynthia Turner-Graham, alongside her husband Dr. Barney S. Graham, walked us through how ancient wisdom and modern medicine can work together for real healing.

This is the heart behind our international medical missions work at Mercy & Truth Healthcare Ministry. Healing that honors the whole person and the whole community.
