What an incredible Homecoming Weekend at The New Bethel Church!
From Friday’s Homecoming Kickoff to Saturday’s NBC University classes and tailgate, the weekend was filled with faith, fellowship, creativity, and celebration. Our youth had the opportunity to learn and grow through elective classes, including Fashion Design, Drumline, and Cheerleading, and they proudly presented what they learned during today’s service.
For Youth Sunday, our young people served throughout the worship experience as media production team members, greeters, praise and worship participants, and adjutants. They showed us that there is a place for every gift, talent, and calling in the body of Christ.
We were blessed by an excellent exhortation from Shannon Johnson, who shared a powerful message titled, “It’s Giving… Restoration.”
We closed the service with a special Back-to-School Prayer, covering students of all ages, teachers, faculty, staff, and everyone who works in education. Anointing oil was also given to the students as they prepare for the new school year.
What a beautiful reminder that our youth belong here, have purpose, and are welcomed home to Christ!
