Trusting the One Who Led You to Your Current Situation

Nothing about the situation you’re in surprised God. Sometimes the challenge is learning to trust the One who led you there instead of becoming consumed by the difficulty of the process.

How many people have prayed for something—marriage, children, a home, a promotion, greater influence—and then found themselves frustrated by the work, exhaustion, responsibility, pressure, and sacrifice that came with the answered prayer?

Sometimes what feels burdensome today is connected to the very thing that was cried out for yesterday. The challenge is remembering what was prayed for while learning to trust God with what came with it.

When Grief Buries Someone You Love, Don’t Let It Bury You Too

Pastor Johnny shares a powerful testimony about burying his grandson and what God revealed to him in the middle of unimaginable grief: the love he carried for his grandson could not be buried in that cemetery with him.
