When Jairus' daughter was dying, he sought Jesus with all his might. We often pray casually, but Jesus' words echo: 'Be not afraid, only believe.' Like the father of the demon-possessed son, we can cry out, 'Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.' True faith needs God's help, and sometimes, it needs help with itself.
