What a week at our Neighborhood Sports Camp + our Block Party! 🏀⚽️🎉

Over the past few days, our building and neighborhood were filled with laughter, energy, competition, worship, and the love of Jesus. We had an incredible time investing in kids and families through sports, games, teaching, snacks, conversations, and community.

Then we wrapped it all up with an amazing Block Party filled with bounce houses, snow cones, food, face painting, music, and a whole lot of fun together. 🌭🍧🎈

More than anything, we’re thankful for every child, every family, every volunteer, and every conversation. We believe God is moving in our neighborhood, and it’s a privilege to serve our city in the name of Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who volunteered, donated, prayed, invited friends, and helped make this week possible. The best part? This is only the beginning.

Three more lives publicly declaring that Jesus changes everything. 🙌🌊

This past Sunday, we celebrated 3 baptisms — powerful stories of grace, surrender, and new life in Christ. Every testimony is a reminder that God is still saving, restoring, and calling people to follow the way of Jesus.

We’re praising God for what He’s doing in our church family!

Neighborhood Sports Camp is coming to KCK this summer — and it's 100% FREE.

Three days of basketball, soccer, and cheer/dance for kids K–5th grade, right here in our neighborhood. Led by coaches who love this community and believe every kid deserves to be seen, encouraged, and have a blast.

We’re so thankful for the team from Portland Avenue Baptist Church who came to serve with us this week at The Way Church KC!

From hosting an incredible Kids Club to loving on families in our neighborhood, your team served with joy, humility, and the love of Jesus. We had around 40 kids attend, hear the Gospel, build friendships, play games, and experience the care of the local church in a tangible way.

Thank you for giving your time, energy, and hearts to invest in our community. Your partnership encouraged our church deeply, and we’re grateful for the way you helped us push back darkness and point kids and families to Christ.

Please join us in praying that the seeds planted this week would continue to bear fruit for the Kingdom. ❤️🙌
