Last year, we sent out our very first missionary to serve in Southeast Asia. For the past year, Rachel K has been boots on the ground, serving, sharing the Good News, and reaching the lost.

Yesterday, we got to pray over Rachel M as she embarks on a mission trip to visit Rachel K! Please join us in praying for both Rachel’s as they serve together over the next week! 🙏🙌🙏🙌🙏

Our Sunday service is now available in Spanish — live, every week.

Here's how it works: come Sunday at 10:30, scan the QR code right outside the sanctuary doors, and listen to live translation on your phone (bring headphones).

Church should never be out of reach because of language. If Spanish is your first language — or your family's — we'd love to have you this Sunday. And if you know a Spanish-speaking neighbor, friend, or coworker who's been looking for a church, send this to them.

A game night, a Saturday morning that's going to fill the building, and all the usual rhythms in between. Nothing here requires you to already belong. Come find out what this is.

🎲 Fri Aug 7, 7:00 PM — Way Young Adults Game Night
🎒 Sat Aug 8, 9a–12p — Back-to-School Outreach. Free backpacks, shoes, school supplies, breakfast and haircuts for Rosedale families. Free means free — no cost, no catch, nothing to sign.
🍽️ Sun Aug 30, noon — Kid's Ministry Volunteer Meeting, directly after church. Lunch provided. For all current and prospective kids min volunteers.

There are no perfect people at The Way KC. Not in the chairs, not on the stage, not behind the pulpit.

Some of us grew up in church and never left. Some of us left and swore we were done. Some of us are new to all of it. On any given Sunday you'll find families, college students, young adults, people a few weeks into sobriety, and folks who just moved to Kansas City and are looking for somewhere to belong.

Nobody here has arrived. That's kind of the whole point.

So come as you are. Sit in the back if you want. Bring your kids, bring your questions, bring the parts of your story you'd rather not explain yet. Nobody's going to hand you a checklist.
