What does it look like to worship God without reservation? This Sunday, Pastor Mary walked us through 2 Samuel 6 and the story of King David, who stripped off his royal robes and danced before the Lord with everything he had. Not because it was comfortable. Because God was worthy.

David's extravagant worship did not happen overnight. It flowed from a private history with God built through lions, giants, and countless moments of trusting Him in the dark. The depth of our response in worship is shaped by our revelation of who God is and what He has done.

When we gather and lift our voices together, something shifts. Walls come down. Spirits are lifted. Freedom is released. As Psalm 22:3 reminds us, God inhabits the praise of His people.

Come as you are. Leave different than you came.

3 takeaways from Pastor Mary Terrell’s message this Sunday!

1. Worship is love expressed without reservation. Like David dancing with all his might, we’re called to lay down pride, fear, and self-consciousness and worship God wholeheartedly.

2. Corporate worship shifts the atmosphere. When we gather in unity and lift up praise, faith rises, burdens are lifted, and hearts are strengthened. Our worship impacts not only us but those around us!

3. Worship flows from knowing God. The more we experience His goodness, faithfulness, and presence, the more our worship becomes a natural overflow of our relationship with Him—not a performance.

May our worship always be an overflow of knowing Him and loving Him. 🤍🙌

✨What an amazing morning we experienced in the presence of the Lord✨

We had the privilege to send off our dear Joe Hill and his wife, who have devotedly served this community, as they embark on their next journey, which includes supporting us with our new building project.

Aaron Flint also received a heartfelt send-off, as our church surrounded him in love and prayer as he heads into the upcoming election season.

MT inspiringly prompted us to adopt a lifestyle of worship that remains steadfast, no matter our circumstances. Let us strive to express gratitude in everything we do daily, cherishing the gift and grace of Jesus Christ!

One of the most powerful things we can experience in following Jesus is baptism. In a world that loves to go through the motions throughout our daily life, we are taking pivotal moment to tell Jesus that we will live boldly for Him and leave the old self behind.

Pastor Lance lead us beautifully in encouraging us to live in Freedom and knowing God through every single element of our life.
