Easthaven Baptist Church, established as a mission church in 1963, started in the living room of Robert & Elaine Wall. Pastor Robert led the church for approximately ten years. We moved to our location on Highway 2 in 1966 where we shared the hilltop with a pasture of buffalo for a time. Easthaven started its second growth phase in 1978 when a congregation of 80 or 90 built a new sanctuary to accommodate up to 320 worshippers, in anticipation of growth. Now in our third growth phase, our current location is at 2010 Whitefish Stage. Daniel Lambert served as Senior Pastor at Easthaven from 1991-2022.

Thank you for praying for our Staff Retreat! Our entire staff spent Wednesday through Saturday at TLC Retreat, enjoying a meaningful time of playing games, studying Scripture together, and soaking up some sunshine.

One special part of this year’s retreat was having Pastor Kevin from Texas join us as our guest speaker for the entire retreat. He helped our team learn how God has uniquely created each of us and how we can work together better as a team.

It was also such a joy to have our families join us Friday afternoon to swim in the lake, share a meal, and spend the night together.

We are so thankful for this special time of rest, refreshment, and reconnection, and we look forward to seeing how God uses this week in a mighty way!

This Sunday, we’re kicking off a brand-new series going through the book of Habakkuk. We are also introducing a new song!

Throughout Habakkuk, we see a prophet learning to trust God even when life doesn’t make sense. The song “Valley Of Worship” captures the same journey, reminding us that our worship isn’t dependent on our circumstances but on God’s unchanging character. As we walk through Habakkuk together, this song will help us respond by building altars of remembrance and turning our deepest, darkest valleys into Valleys of Worship.

Join us this Sunday at 9AM or 11AM to begin this journey with us. We’d love to see you there!

This last May, Pastor Chad completed his Doctorate in Applied Theology and Leadership! This represents three years of study, research, and faithful commitment to growing not only as a leader, but as a shepherd for our church family.

Through this degree, Chad has pursued the highest level of theological and leadership training to better equip him to lead Easthaven with wisdom, discernment, and a deep commitment to Scripture. His studies strengthen his ability to navigate the complex and often undefined challenges churches face today and in the future, while continuing to seek the leading of the Holy Spirit in applying God’s Word. We are grateful for Chad’s dedication to shepherding and serving our church well.
