Creating something new takes courage. We may need to listen differently, trust someone, or offer an idea before we know how it will be received.

Let’s pause to pray:

God, please forgive us when we fail to see others, trust, and risk vulnerability. Give us the courage to change, and help us grow in love. Amen.

God of grace, forgive us for the times we ask the world to change while refusing to examine our own hearts. Help us recognize where fear, habit, or pride keeps us from loving fully.

Shape us in the way of Jesus. Give us compassion to see, courage to respond, and humility to grow. Amen.

What might happen if we met something new with curiosity? If we paused to listen before saying, “We’ve always done it this way”?
