Christian baptism is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. The Lord’s Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.

Ebenezer family! This is your worship & family pastor, Benjamin speaking! Our Family Retreat is quickly approaching. Below is a weekly prayer I offer up for our weekly services. I ask that you use it not only for our Sunday Services, but also for our coming Family Retreat. It would mean the world to me if you would. Join with me praying the following:

1. That God would be glorified in all that takes place.
2. That we would worship God in spirit and truth.
3. That God’s truth would be communicated clearly through the preaching and singing of His Word and our church respond in worship.
4. That God’s truth would move evangelistically and the lost be saved.
5. That nothing would distract from the preaching and singing of God’s truth, but everything be done in excellence.
6. That nothing would hinder the preaching and singing of God’s truth, but all relationships with each other be accounted for and settled.
7. That the result of preaching and singing God’s truth would produce in Ebenezer a desire from the Lord to be unified, to deny self, to be living sacrifices, and to carry out the mission God has for Ebenezer.

Ebenezer family, mark your calendars for our upcoming 2026 Family Retreat at the Jimmie Davis State Park, September 25th-26th! This is always a wonderful time of Bible study, musical worship, and fellowship. We are inviting all to attend and bring crockpot soups and desserts for the first night. Doors will open at 4:00 P.M. on Friday. Please see Bro. Ben for signing up and for more details.

This Wednesday, September 2nd, "Kids On Mission" Wednesday night classes will resume along with Wednesday night meals. The meal service will begin at 5:15 p.m. Children may be picked up from the foyer of the Children's Sunday School building at 7:00 p.m.

Hey Ebenezer family! You may have gotten a notification or email today that there will not be a Family night this coming Sunday. Just to clarify: we will still have a normal Sunday night service at 6:00pm, just not a family night. Sorry for the confusion.

Calling all choir members in our North Central Baptist Association! 'Tis the season... Well, sort of... 🥵
