This is another verse that has made me cry. How great is our God that He doesn’t abandon us. He is always with us and will help us.

🗓 On This Date 🗓 September 1, 1873—Lottie Moon sailed for China.

At 32 years old, she had been appointed by the Foreign Mission Board (now IMB) just weeks earlier. She sailed for Tengchow, China, and for the next 39 years she called China home—sharing the gospel, serving the people, and leaving a lasting legacy of missions.

Today—153 years later—her faithful witness continues to inspire through the ongoing work of IMB and WMU, all to the glory of God. 🌎✝️
