Fear, insecurity, competition...The Lord calls us to lay it down. In 1 Samuel chapter 10, Saul was chosen by God to be the first king over Israel, and when the time came for him to step up, he was found hiding among the baggage. What is the Lord calling you out of today? It's not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit. You can be free to be who God has called you to be. The sermon today was entitled, "Trusting God When Seasons Change." In Joshua chapter 1 the nation of Israel is in a major transition. Moses, their leader, is gone and Joshua, his assistant, has now been placed with the burden of the nation. God encourages Joshua that His presence, His promises, and His Word remain true and steadfast. Trusting God when seasons change is what every believer is called to do being confident that the Lord is with us, He has a plan, and that His Word is unchanging and is an anchor in our lives. If the circumstances in your life have put you in a season of change, be encouraged. God has not changed His mind concerning you. His purposes will be fulfilled in your life. In John Chapter 11, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. What appeared to be a late arrival and a too far gone situation was an opportunity for Jesus to do the miraculous. Sometimes in life we are left feeling disappointed. Jesus promised that if you believe, you will see the glory of God. Just because it seems different than what you hoped for and expected doesn't mean that God has forgotten you or denied you, but in His sovereignty, His glory is being revealed in your life. In Psalm 126 it says those who sow in tears will reap in joy. Sometimes we have to keep sowing in faith, prayer, and continue worshiping before the harvest comes. God has promised that joy will return. If you're facing a battle in your life that has drained you of all your joy, keep pressing forward. Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Josh grew up in Jamestown but moved to Erie as soon as he graduated high school. He has six brothers and sisters and is a new father to his daughter Maranatha. He has led worship full time, part time, and volunteer and has a genuine love and passion to lead people into the presence of God. We're looking forward to touching the heart of God with worship.

The sermon today was entitled, "What God Can Do In 24 Hours." 2 Kings Chapter 7, there's a story about God can turn a hard situation around in 24 hours. There was a famine in the land, but the word of the Lord came, "By this time tomorrow the famine would end and things would be back to the way they were." Four lepers outside the city gates made a powerful statement, "Why do we sit here until we die? Let's get up and do something." God honored their faith and the enemy scattered. Heavenly hosts were dispatched and God fought on their behalf. You may be in a hard situation today, but God is the God of miracles. Determine within yourself that you won't just sit and accept defeat, you're going to trust Him, and walk in spiritual authority in faith. You will be amazed at what God can do in 24 hours. Justin is a devoted husband, father, evangelist, and author who has had the privilege of preaching the gospel throughout Africa, North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. He served as a missionary in Africa for five years, where he founded a Bible school, organized evangelistic crusades, preached on the streets, and led pastors' conferences and training seminars. His book, Go and Preach, Finding God's Highest Through Evangelism, https://www.amazon.com/Go-Preach-Finding-Highest-Evangelism/dp/B0F8W3DFW5, is a great resource tool for evangelism.

At the age of 41, God called Justin to return to school to pursue a career in medicine. Today, he is passionate about integrating faith and medicine, seeking to care for the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—while continuing to proclaim the hope of the gospel.

Justin says, "God is going to pour out His Spirit in Jamestown and He needs all hands on deck. Being filled with Spirit is to give us power to be witnesses. Evangelism is important for every believer on some level. Even if you aren't an evangelist, build relationships with people who aren't Christians and ask God to give you an opportunity to plant seeds. Prepare yourself (Be ready) to share a simple gospel message with people."

When Jesus healed the Synagogue ruler's daughter and she came back to life, the Bible says that the people were amazed. He is an amazing God.
