We continue to have Wednesday evening Bible studies at First Covenant. They have been wonderful as we continue to review and discuss Thessalonians.
Pastor Jerry Lange wanted to share an encouraging message!
In our Wednesday night Bible Study in I Thessalonians we recently went through the passage in chapter four about the return of Christ. Paul offers hope and encouragement to the Thessalonians when he explains that we do not have to grieve for followers who have already passed. On the day when he will come again in glory, all those who follow Christ, both living and dead, will be taken to live with the Lord forever. For those who live and die "in Christ" will have an eternal home and a bright future with Him. Therefore, they should encourage each other with this knowledge.
