Please join us in praying for Kerantha Poole, a single mother and widow who is raising her beautiful 11-year-old twins. On Tuesday, July 14, Kerantha will undergo a craniotomy to remove a brain tumor. As she begins this journey, we want to surround her and her family with the love, care, and support of our church family.

A Meal Train has been created to help care for the family during Kerantha's recovery. Providing a meal is a simple but meaningful way to bless them during this season.

Please be praying for:
• A successful surgery - prayer throughout her surgery. If you are willing, please pray for her on Tuesday, July 14, between 7:00 AM and 2:00 PM
• Wisdom and steady hands for her medical team
• That the tumor is not cancerous
• That the surgeons are able to remove the entire tumor, including any surrounding abnormal cells, so that no additional treatment will be needed
• A smooth and complete recovery
• Peace that surpasses understanding
• Strength and comfort for Kerantha and her twins
• God's presence to be evident every step of the way

What an amazing day we had on Saturday celebrating the talents, creativity, and gifts of the women of JourneyChurch.org at our very first P31 Market! From handmade items and delicious treats to beautiful creations and thriving businesses, it was such a joy to see women using their God-given gifts to bless others and glorify Him.
Thank you to every vendor who shared your time, talents, and treasures with our church family and community. Thank you to everyone who came out to shop, encourage, and support these incredible women. The fellowship, conversations, and encouragement throughout the morning made it even more special.
We are so thankful for all God did and are already looking forward to the next one!

This Saturday, May 23rd, I wanted to invite all the ladies to meet at Fernandina Beach to watch the sunrise together. Bring a chair or beach blanket, and your Bible if you’d like to spend some quiet time in the Word as we watch the sunrise.
This will be a relaxing time to simply spend time together, fellowship, and get to know each other more. After sunrise, we’ll take a walk along the beach and end our time together with prayer.

We are getting ready for our Summer Group Session, and we would LOVE to invite more women to step into leadership this summer!
Leading a group is such a beautiful opportunity to build community, encourage others in their faith, and create space for women to grow together. Summer groups are a shorter commitment — just 6–8 weeks — making it a great time to get involved!

Interested in leading a group this summer? Here are the requirements:
✔️ You have completed JC Connect
✔️ You have attended a group at Journey for at least one semester
Hebrews 10:24-25 says:
“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together… but encourage one another.”

Today was such a beautiful time at Picnic and Praise with Journey Women. We were reminded that we praise God in so many ways—through prayer, through words of encouragement, through fellowship, and even through laughter. What a gift it is to gather together as sisters and simply enjoy one another in His presence.

Today was filled with joy, connection, and heartfelt moments that reflected God’s love among us. Laughter truly is a form of praise to the Lord, and it was wonderful to see so many women encouraging one another and sharing in the blessing of community together.

Grateful for every woman who came and made today so special. Already looking forward to the next time we gather!
