Genuine faith holds sorrow and joy at the same time. Our series through Habakkuk kicked off this week with the truth that we ought to bring our sorrrow, our questions, and our doubts to the Lord and be honest with Him about that. And we also ought to praise Him in the midst of those questions and struggles.

Our student ministry had a great time at their monthly Friday night gathering last night. If you have a student in 6-12th grade that is looking for a place of discipleship and community, join us next month! Or come to our student bible study that happens on the 2nd and 4th Sunday every month at 9:15 in the youth room!

Heaven's reward system looks nothing like the world's. The faithful saints who serve, pray, and give in secret may go unnoticed here, but their eternal reward will outshine any platform, fame, or recognition this world has to offer. Don't give up. If you sow, you will reap.

This past Sunday, two people followed Jesus in obedience through baptism. What an incredible thing it is to see the power of the Gospel on display as people publicly declare their faith and desire to follow Jesus! Pray for Chris and Lillie as they continue pursuing the Lord and be sure to encourage them the next time you see them!
