We are a warm and welcoming faith community in southwest Jacksonville, rooted in the Reformed (and always reforming) tradition of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.). We believe God's grace meets us right where we are, and we strive to reflect Christ's love through worship, service, and hospitality. Worship is at the heart of our life together. We gather on Sunday mornings at 10:00 AM for traditional
worship that is meaningful, reverent, family-friendly, and open to all. Adult Sunday School meets at 9:00 AM. Whether you come dressed in jeans or your Sunday best, you are welcome here. We are governed by elders and led by Pastor Dr. Yvan J. Kelly, reflecting the Presbyterian commitment to shared leadership between clergy and laity. Together we seek to discern God's will for our congregation and community. Kirkwood is active beyond Sunday mornings - our ministries include children and youth programs, adult education, music ministry, Presbyterian Women, and outreach teams. Throughout the year we also host community events like our Fall Festival and Pumpkin Patch, Easter celebrations, seasonal worship services, Bunco nights, and more! So be sure to check our events page often. Above all, Kirkwood is a place where all are welcome to worship, to serve, to ask questions, and to belong. We are not perfect people, but we trust in a gracious God who is always at work among us. There is a place for you here - come and see.
