What we love in the summer: good books, good food, and good company. The Women’s Ministry has all three this summer.
Mother · Daughter · Sister · Friend Dinner — Tuesday, June 16, 6–8 p.m. People crave community — and God created the Church to be exactly that. Join us for an intergenerational dinner and panel with Rhonda Conroy, Jen Hunt-Taylor, Annie Watkins, and Shirley Windham as they share their own struggles and the ways Scripture and the people of God lead us to wisdom and joy. $10 at the door. Nursery available upon request. Register at fpcj.ms/events.
Bible Study: 1 Peter: Living Well on the Way Home — Thursdays, June 11, 18, 25 and July 9, 16, 23, 9:30–11 a.m. Following Christ makes us different. So how should we face a sometimes hostile world? 1 Peter has answers and encouragement for us. Come join us! Register at fpcj.ms/women.
Crafts & Company: Grandma Hobbies Night — Monday, June 22, 6–8 p.m. Unplug for an evening and rediscover the joy of grandma hobbies — embroidery, needlepoint, knitting, crochet, and cross-stitch. Bring a project, learn something new, or simply come enjoy the company. All ages and skill levels welcome, girls age 10 through grandmas! Light snacks will be served. Register at fpcj.ms/events.
We hope to see you this summer. Questions? Contact Deborah Oakley at [email protected].
