Broken Chains Outreach's founder, E.C.C. Pastor Shannon Bopp of Salem, IL, has a vision to rescue the children of Costa Rica that have fell victim to the horrible trade of Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking in Costa Rica is at epidemic levels. Children are enslaved for labor in agriculture and s*x trafficking as early as 8 years of age. We are seeking to launch a refuge to house up to 40 childre

n between the ages of 8 and 17 years of age. Please consider this mission in your prayers and if your heart leads, there will continually be a need for financial support.

Car Show and Lunch tomorrow at Evergreen. Please come by for lunch if possible. Pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, hotdogs, brats, desserts and lots of pies. All proceeds go to Broken Chains Mission giving the hope of Jesus to children in poverty and victims of human trafficking. Serving lunch from 10:00am- 12:30 pm.

Great trip with students from Central Christian University, Ozark Christian University, Highland Church of Christ and Evergreen Christian Church!! Lots of great work accomplished, children’s events, Bible studies, helped lead worship, preaching, work at the safehouse, built covered roof for the bus, painted a house of some of our kids from the feeding program, relationships built, global impact and memories for a lifetime.

Today is a glorious day!! This is one reason we started the kids feeding program in Costa Rica. This young girl in the picture has attended our feeding program since she was a young child. Today she was baptized!!!! Hallelujah!!!
