Broken Chains Outreach's founder, E.C.C. Pastor Shannon Bopp of Salem, IL, has a vision to rescue the children of Costa Rica that have fell victim to the horrible trade of Human Trafficking. Human Trafficking in Costa Rica is at epidemic levels. Children are enslaved for labor in agriculture and s*x trafficking as early as 8 years of age. We are seeking to launch a refuge to house up to 40 childre

n between the ages of 8 and 17 years of age. Please consider this mission in your prayers and if your heart leads, there will continually be a need for financial support.

Pastor Danny Villalobos is here in the United States!! If you want to meet him and hear a short update on our mission in Costa Rica please read the following and we would love to have you at this dinner!

On Tuesday, July 14th, Broken Chains is having a dinner for everyone who has been on a trip to Costa Rica with us, would like to go or just want to hear an update on our work. Pastor Danny Villalobos, his wife Maria and daughter Denise will be here. He is visiting for two weeks and we would like to have a chance for everyone to see him and we will give a short update on our mission in Pocora as well as the great things going on at the safehouse. The dinner will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Evergreen Christian Church. If you can make it please respond so we will have enough food prepared for everyone. Your spouse is welcome to attend even if they have not been on a trip. We will not have child care but they are welcome as well. Please rsvp by Sunday, July 12th.
