St. John's Episcopal Church

St. John's Episcopal Church St. John's Episcopal Church is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Central New York.

We hold regular Sunday worship services, as well as a Sunday class for specially challenged adults and a Sunday adult formation discussion class, and we maintain a robust Education for Ministry series that meets weekly during the academic year. We are also home to Loaves and Fishes of Tompkins County and participate in a number of outreach activities related to fighting poverty and hunger in the world.

A joyous service today at St John’s — Bishop DeDe’s visit included a baptism and six confirmations. Congratulations to Marie, Riya, Zeke, Craig, Rich, and Jack! Welcome to a life of faith in the Episcopal Church!
We also had a visit from Iyad Qumri, who many of us know as our guide through many sites of the Holy Land in Israel and Palestine.
