In honor of Women’s History Month, Mirror Indy has put together a tour of historic markers around the city. The tour begins at St. Philip's Episcopal Church - Indy, since they proudly host the marker honoring the Phyllis Wheatley YWCA!

The days are getting longer and a little warmer, making it nice enough to go for a walk around town.

Since it is Women’s History Month, we put together a little tour of spots around Indy that feature historical markers sharing the stories of women who shaped the city and the state.

Check out the map and plan out your walk: https://bit.ly/4dmFk1p

Happy Women’s History Month!

This weekend we hosted our first-ever Confirmation Retreat! 🎉 Ten youth from six congregations across the diocese chose to participate in this important step in their faith journey.

We are especially grateful to our chaperones and facilitators who made the weekend possible. Together we explored our history, our faith, our Bible, and our call to ministry. 📖✨

Pictured here are the Anglican prayer beads and a new diocesan shield the youth created as part of learning about liturgy. Should we adopt it?

Some highlights of the weekend included an instructed Eucharist and a spiritual gifts inventory. We were also blessed by a visit from Bishop Jennifer, who our youth are convinced is the coolest adult who has ever existed. 😎 Just as she is a fan of them, they are certainly fans of her. 💜

The last photo includes a few bonus youth we picked up from the Holy Family Intergenerational retreat! Their retreat was a part of their Youth Ministry University cohort’s intergenerational experiments.

Gracious Father, whose blessed Son Jesus Christ came down from heaven to be the true bread which gives life to the world: Evermore give us this bread, that he may live in us, and we in him; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
