St. Monica Indy Founded in 1956, St. Monica is a Roman Catholic parish located in the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. We St. Monica Parish is known as a diverse community.

🕊️ ¡Damos gracias a Dios por una hermosa fiesta del Espíritu Santo en nuestra parroquia!

Vivimos una jornada inolvidable llena de fe y alegría en la Iglesia Católica de Santa Mónica de Indianápolis, celebrando el sacramento de la Confirmación de 152 jovencitos de nuestra comunidad.

Como nos recuerda San Juan Pablo II en su encíclica Dominum et Vivificantem:

"Por el sacramento de la Confirmación, el Espíritu Santo es dado a cada uno de los bautizados como don especial, para ser en la Iglesia testigo de la verdad y del amor divino".

Queremos expresar nuestro más profundo agradecimiento a nuestro Excelentísimo Arzobispo, Charles C. Thompson, por su paternal visita, por presidir esta Sagrada Eucaristía, y por guiar con sus palabras a nuestros jóvenes en este paso tan importante para sus vidas.

Felicitamos a todos los confirmados, a sus padres y padrinos. Oramos para que el fuego del Espíritu Santo guíe siempre sus pasos y los convierta en valientes testigos del amor de Dios en el mundo. ¡Santa Mónica está de fiesta! 🔴🔥

🕊️ We give thanks to God for a beautiful celebration of the Holy Spirit in our parish!

We experienced an unforgettable day filled with faith and joy at St. Monica Catholic Church in Indianapolis, celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation for 152 young people from our community.

As St. John Paul II reminds us in his encyclical Dominum et Vivificantem:

"By the sacrament of Confirmation, the Holy Spirit is given to each of the baptized as a special gift, to be a witness in the Church to divine truth and love."

We want to express our deepest gratitude to our Most Reverend Archbishop, Charles C. Thompson, for his pastoral visit, for presiding over this Holy Eucharist, and for guiding our youth with his words in this very important step in their lives.

Congratulations to all the newly confirmed, their parents, and sponsors. We pray that the fire of the Holy Spirit always guides their steps and transforms them into courageous witnesses of God's love in the world. St. Monica is celebrating! 🔴🔥
