Pastor Jonathan Ember brought the *Unsung Heroes* series to a powerful close with a message that challenged each of us to take an honest look in the spiritual mirror. Just as a mirror reflects the truth without distortion, our lives reveal the reality of who we are, what we value, and where we stand in our walk with God.

Using three key reflections, Pastor Jonathan showed where our true character is often revealed: in our homes, through whether we live with hospitality and openness or isolation and self-focus; in our children and the next generation, through whether we are intentionally passing down a love for God; and in our legacy, through whether we leave behind more of Jesus wherever we go. These areas often tell a more honest story about our faith than our words ever could.

The message was both convicting and encouraging. It called us to examine what our lives are reflecting and to ask whether there are habits, attitudes, or influences that need to be removed. When we choose to follow Jesus wholeheartedly, we not only transform our own lives but also impact our families, our communities, and future generations. There is no greater legacy than leaving behind a life that points people to Christ.

What a beautiful Sunday we had at Diversity Church as we gathered together to celebrate Father's Day, honor the fathers and grandfathers in our lives, and most importantly give glory and honor to our Heavenly Father.

The morning was filled with powerful worship, heartfelt moments of prayer, and an impactful conclusion to Pastor Jonathan Ember's Unsung Heroes series. We also took time at the beginning of service to pray over the students and leaders heading to Youth Camp this week, asking God to move powerfully in their lives and draw them closer to Him. At the close of service, we prayed over the fathers and grandfathers of our church, commissioning them to faithfully carry the banner of Christ into their homes, workplaces, and communities.

It was a powerful reminder that God is at work in every generation—from the youngest among us to the oldest. He is still calling people to Himself, still transforming lives, and still building His Kingdom. If you're looking for a church family where you can grow in your faith and be part of what God is doing, we'd love for you to join us at Diversity Church.

Pastor Jonathan Ember delivered a powerful, convicting, and thought-provoking message in the latest installment of the Unsung Heroes series titled “The Aim of a Flamethrower.” Drawing inspiration from Simon the Zealot, Pastor challenged us to examine where the fire of our passion is aimed or whether it's burning at all.

Just like fire can bring warmth, light, and life, it can also cause destruction when misdirected. The same is true of our zeal. Are our passions focused on the things of God, His Kingdom, and His purposes? Or have they become consumed by temporary pursuits, political causes, entertainment, personal ambitions, or other things that ultimately cannot satisfy? Perhaps for some, the issue isn't misdirected passion but fading passion, a fire that has slowly burned down to embers.

This message was a call to take an honest look at our hearts and ask what truly excites, motivates, and drives us. God never intended for His people to live with cold, indifferent faith. Instead, we are called to reignite our zeal for Him and direct that passion toward the things that matter most. The question isn't just whether you're passionate or not; it's whether your passion is aimed at the right target.

What a wonderful Sunday we had at Diversity Church! We were blessed with an incredible time of worship led by Worship Pastor Nina and Associate Pastor Justin Flanagan as the church gathered together to lift up the name of Jesus.

One of the highlights of the morning was celebrating baptisms as people of all ages publicly declared their faith in Christ. It was a powerful reminder that it is never too early and never too late to follow Jesus. Watching lives go from death to life and hearing stories of faith is something that never gets old.

Pastor Jonathan Ember rounded out the service with another impactful message in the Unsung Heroes series, challenging us to examine our passions and our zeal for God. Whether that zeal has grown cold or become misdirected, the call was clear: let our hearts burn once again for the things of God and align our passions with His purposes. It was a powerful day in the presence of the Lord, and we're thankful for all that He continues to do in and through His people.
