Pastor Jonathan continued the *Unsung Heroes* series with a message titled **“The Other Judas.”** When most people hear the name Judas, they immediately think of Judas Iscariot, the disciple known for betraying Jesus. But this message shined a light on another Judas—Judas Thaddeus—a disciple who receives very little attention in Scripture and is only recorded speaking once.
Yet despite his limited mention, Judas Thaddeus left behind a powerful example. He was not defined by the failure associated with the other Judas. Instead, he was known for his character. Many scholars believe he was given the nickname *Thaddeus* because it means "big-hearted" or "courageous-hearted." He faithfully followed Jesus, carried the presence of God, and served without seeking recognition or applause.
The message challenged us to consider what kind of legacy we're building. In a world that constantly seeks attention, platform, and recognition, Judas Thaddeus reminds us that faithfulness matters more than fame. It is far better to be quietly known by God for doing what is right than to be widely known by people for doing what is wrong.
