Summer is here, and that means Block Party season is back at Ascend!

Our first Block Party of the summer is next Saturday from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM at Bradford Lake Apartments. These events are one of our favorite ways to serve our community, build relationships, and show our neighbors that there is a church in town that genuinely loves and cares about them.

Don’t forget, this Sunday is Family Sunday at Ascend!

That means all kids will join us in the main gathering except for our Babies & Toddlers class. We love these Sundays and are excited to have the whole church family in the room together as we continue our study through Philippians and dive into Chapter 3 this week!

It’s also a time for the congregation to affirm their commitment to help disciple and nurture the child in their spiritual journey.

Ascend Women’s Summer Book Study starts in less than a month!

Join us this summer as we walk through Soul Care. Mary Walker and Lisa Green will lead discussion as we explore six life-giving practices of biblical self-care rooted in Scripture and modeled after the life of Jesus.

This will be a meaningful time of community, encouragement, and growth as we learn what it looks like to care for our mind, body, and spirit in a Christ-centered way. Friends are welcome and encouraged to join us!
