Today we talked about what it looks like to obey before we fully understand, faith that says yes before it knows the cost. There are things about Jesus you only discover on the other side of obedience.
“What if His glory is waiting to be seen in places where his saints are willing to obey?”

These are questions worth sitting with . Prayer isn’t just preparation for the work, prayer is the work. Let’s be a people who lay hold of the throne, contend for the lost, and refuse to stop praying until God moves.
Don’t just talk about the burden. Pray it through.
Don’t give up. Don’t let go. Intercede again.

What if prayer is not just preparation for something greater — what if it IS the greater work? This week, Pastor Scott opened up the power of persistent prayer and what it means to truly pour out your heart before the Lord.

From Hannah’s desperate cry in 1 Samuel 2 to Mary’s radical surrender in Luke 1, we see that persistent prayer changes us. It aligns our desires to God’s eternal purposes. It shifts our posture from grasping to open-handed trust.

Do not give up on that prayer. What feels like silence may be God aligning your request to something far bigger than you imagined. When you have access to Him, you have everything you need.

Oh when the saints…pray
What a Sunday. We were reminded that the We can go to Him boldly , pour it all out, surrender it all, and keep praying without giving up.

You do not become a saint by finally getting it all right. You become one because Christ claimed you as his own. That is not a title you earn it is an identity you receive.

Paul wrote to a broken, messy church in Corinth and still called them saints. He was not speaking to who they were in the moment. He was speaking to who they were in Christ. The same is true for you today.

Faith is not just something you admire from a distance. It is something you put your weight on. Hebrews 11:1 and 11:6 remind us that faith is the assurance of things hoped for — and without it, it is impossible to please God. The question is not whether you believe in the chair. The question is whether you will sit down.

He has prepared a place. Will you trust him with the weight of your life?
