If you're a veteran that would like to make a positive impact on the community while connecting with other veterans then tie up your boots, roll up your sleeves, and come ready to do something worth doing. We are a group of veterans that seek out “heavy lifting” service projects to help those in need, build comradery, help veterans transition, and heal. If you have a disability don't let the "heavy lifting" scare you off. We need your strengths and there is more than enough opportunities to go around.
The group is organized through Church of the Highlands and is open to member and non-member veterans. This includes anyone that has or currently does serve in the military. Registration for the Small Group opens January 20, 2018. Please register at: https://www.churchofthehighlands.com/groups.
