Valley Fellowship is a Spirit-empowered community - fervent in prayer, living the Word, active in community, and expanding in outreach. Our congregation is made up of people from many backgrounds including Pentecostal, Charismatic, Word-of-faith, Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, Full Gospel, Assembly of God, non-denominational, independent, and non-religious.

WHAT ARE YOUR WORDS CARRYING?
Our words will land somewhere. Just like an airplane with the capacity to transport people or products, our words carry messages into people’s lives. When they land, they unpack their cargo and impact their recipients. They deliver encouragement, love, peace, faith, hope, joy, anger, disappointment, brokenness, jealousy, etc. Find ways to load your words with the Word of God.
Our words have an awesome impact on others. Think first; talk second. Choose to bless and be a blessing. May the words we speak encourage listeners into the plans the Lord has for them.

SOMETHING GOOD IS GOING TO HAPPEN
God is good. He isn't out to get you. He is for you, not against you. God keeps His promises. “Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for He always tenderly cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7 TPT). Keep your expectancy high. He will do exactly what He says He’ll do in His Word. How He is going to do it, you may not know, but you can always know that God will bless you.

We pray everyone has a meaningful Memorial Day. Church and school are closed Monday and Tuesday, May 25-26, in observance of Memorial Day.
Many celebrate this weekend outdoors alongside family and friends, however others mourn the loss of their brothers and sisters in arms. Memorial Day is primarily a day of reflection on the sacrifices of the U.S. military that have enabled enduring peace and freedom in the United States. Memorial Day honors the sacrifices of soldiers, but Jesus paid the ultimate price for our freedom from sin and death. Let’s use Memorial Day to remember both the earthly and spiritual heroes who have made sacrifices for others.

The church calendar designates this upcoming Sunday, May 24, as "Pentecost Sunday" -- a day we remember the Holy Spirit's dramatic entrance in Acts chapter two. But, that Pentecostal outpouring was not a one-and-done event. Acts chapter four, chapter 10, and chapter 19 provide more examples of believers mightily being filled with the Holy Spirit. God is still pouring out His Spirit on His people today! Hundreds of millions of Spirit-baptized believers on earth today testify, "It is not strange to experience the work of the Holy Spirit today!" Celebrate with us Sunday at 10AM.
