We believe that is the result of collectively bringing others into relationship with Jesus as we grow as disciples ourselves. We take inspiration from Paul’s words in Philippians 2 as we seek to have the same mindset as Christ in our relationships with each other. Our ministry embraces three core concepts that drive all that we do - community, humility and discipleship. These concepts are the vehi
cles through which we seek to carry out our mission. They are the driving forces behind all that we do, and they build on each other. While all of our activities and events will be impacted to some extent by all three concepts, each gathering is driven primarily by one of the concepts. We value community and want to create spaces in our ministry for it to be formed. Belonging to a community of believers is vital to the maturation of a Christian, and many of the things we do are geared toward fostering a sense of community. Community is best experienced when those within it embrace humility - when those sharing life together put the needs and cares of others above their own. We believe that deep relationships and connections are best forged when this is taking place. It is this call to humility that calls us to participate in activities and gatherings that are focused on others. Living a life of discipleship and calling others to do the same is our ultimate goal for each person in our ministry. It’s why we want to foster genuine community - because we believe that discipling, teaching someone to obey Jesus’ commands and follow him, happens most effectively in relationship.
