Oasis of Love Church

Oasis of Love Church Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord.

Yesterday we reflected on Flag Day, celebrated and prayed over our graduates, and enjoyed a delicious meal together! We were also incredibly blessed by both our morning message and our evening guests, Pastors Ambrose and Sue Brennan.

Pastor Art challenged the congregation to truly ask ourselves: "Do I know God?" From the creation of man, He has desired a close, intimate friendship with each of us. We see this in how He walked with Adam and Eve in the garden. We see it in how He called Abraham His friend long before any ministry tasks began, He simply invited Abraham to know Him (Isaiah 41:8, James 2:23). When Mary and Martha welcomed Jesus into their home, Martha was busy doing, while Mary chose the better option, to sit at His feet and be in His presence (Luke 10:38-42).

Do you know God? When was the last time you just sat in His presence?

In the evening, we were so blessed to welcome Pastors Ambrose and Sue Brennan. They shared incredible updates about all God is doing in Prampram, Ghana (West Africa), and how the vision and dreams of our founder, Bishop Miller, are still moving forward today!

God is working in all the details. It requires faithfulness, submission, and yes, funding to do the work, but God is able, in His perfect time. Pastors Ambrose and Sue were full of gratitude and encouragement for our church family.

Please keep Oasis International Training Center and all those who faithfully serve there in your prayers. God is doing amazing things across the globe, what a privilege to partner in that work!!

Wow! June has been rich already. Our Sunday morning messages are solid, casting the vision for a ROCK SOLID summer and, more importantly, life in Jesus!

This past Tuesday, we kicked off Kids Activity Days, and it was awesome, to say the least! "Life with Jesus is Sweet!" Children ages 4–12 are welcome to join us on Tuesdays from 10 AM – 2 PM. **Not June 23rd due to Upper Room Youth Camp.

Today, while not an unusual sight around here, many in the family of God gathered together to prepare the physical place for further spiritual good! What a blessing to work together, each generation, side by side, for the Kingdom of God. The grounds are often abuzz, but there's something extra energetic at camp time!

Only 8 days until Upper Room Youth Camp!

What a beautiful night of worship with Alabaster Dance on Sunday evening!

We are so grateful to have hosted this special time at The Oasis. The performances were powerful, and most importantly, the name of Jesus was boldly proclaimed!

Jesus is just a breath away, ready to break strongholds and make all things new!!

Thank you to Alabaster Dance, Christa Boone, Pastor Ken Boone, and everyone who joined us in giving God the glory.

“Let them praise His name with dancing…” Psalm 149:3

We were blessed to hear from Pastor Art Speck, Pastor Deanne, and John Wensel as they shared highlights from their recent mission to the Oasis International Training Center in Prampram, Ghana, West Africa!

Pastor Art honored the rich history of his late grandmother, Bishop Miller, whose divine redirection and vision in the 1950’s acted as the catalyst for our work in Ghana. This recent trip included seminars with leaders from five different nations. He shared how seeing the Wisemen Builders in action at the training center brings the vision of "touching nations" that began so long ago into focus.

Pastor Deanne and John shared a recurring theme from the trip, spiritual hunger. They reminded us that in the Kingdom, hunger is a sign of health.

4 Ways to cultivate your hunger for God:
Avoid the "Junk": Don't fill up on things that don't satisfy.
Dig Deep: Seek the "more" that God has for you.
Stay Around the Hungry: Passion is contagious; surround yourself with seekers (Matthew 6:33).
Increase Prayer: Build your appetite through consistent time with Him.

We are "spiritually on tap" and ready for all that Jesus is doing through Oasis International and the Oasis right here in Huntingdon!
