Thursday Recap: Spreading the Fire - Sharing Your Faith 🔥

The final day of teen camp was full of worship and sharing.

The campers were reminded to set fire in their tracks! Jesus the ultimate example lived a life ablaze for His Father in Heaven. We can do the same as we share of His love in action and word.

Elisha when Elijah his mentor was about to depart he could have asked for anything instead, "...Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask what I shall do for you before I am taken from you.” And Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”" 2 Kings 2:9

We're praying a double portion on all of the campers. So that when they stay on fire for God, unapologetic about their faith in Him, their sparks will set the world on fire!

We prayed for all of the campers prior to departure and wrapped the week with a camp favorite, dodgeball!

The presence of God was evident all week! It's called Upper Room Youth Camp for a purpose, the Holy Spirit showed up in ways only He can! Praise God!

Wednesday Recap: Keeping the Fire Burning – Stay Strong in the Faith 🔥

Day 4 was all about perseverance! We learned from Building H how to be fireproof — to withstand the flames of life and stand strong in faith. Scars, smoke damage, and setbacks don’t count you out!

Campers fueled up on Downtown Joe & Domino’s! We enjoy supporting our local businesses and appreciate their generosity and accommodations.

From David’s courage (it’s not the size of the giant, but the size of our God) to Elijah’s obedience then fear to hearing God’s whisper - we’re learning to keep our flames burning bright.

Stay strong. Stay lit. Keep the fire burning!
