“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice reminds us of the depth of courage, love, and selflessness that John 15:13 so beautifully speaks of.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we also take time to reflect with gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served so faithfully. We pray for the families who carry both pride and loss, and we ask God to surround them with peace and comfort.

May we never forget the cost of freedom, and may we continue to live with thankful hearts.

Today, our church family gathered to witness and rejoice alongside Melissa taking this beautiful next step in her faith journey. What a gift it is to watch hearts publicly declare their love for Jesus surrounded by friends, family, and a church that is cheering them on every step of the way.

Moments like these remind us that God is still moving, still changing lives, and still writing beautiful stories of grace and redemption every single day.

To everyone who is taking next steps today, no matter what season you are in, know that we are so proud of each and every one of you. We are thankful for your boldness, and honored to walk with you. We can't wait to see you again next Sunday!

Made for more, and made to serve!

During Teacher Appreciation Week, we had the joy of visiting schools in Humboldt to serve the incredible teachers and staff who invest in our students year after year. From pancake breakfasts and mini donuts to Crumbl cookies and Starbucks coffee, it was such a blessing to give back in a small way to those who give so much.

We are so thankful for every teacher, administrator, and school employee who shows up faithfully for the next generation. Your patience, kindness, encouragement, and dedication do not go unnoticed.

Thank you for allowing us to serve you and be a small part of your week. Our community is better because of you!

In a world that constantly demands more, our 2026 Journey Ladies Retreat will use Breathe by Priscilla Shirer to remind us that God never asked us to carry it all. Through powerful teaching, meaningful worship, laughter, rest, and honest conversations with other women, we’ll learn how to release pressure, quiet the noise, and receive the peace only He can give.

There’s something so powerful about a room full of people choosing to come together, and lay it all down.

Last night wasn’t just music, it was surrender. People with different stories, in different seasons, different walks of life came together with one purpose: to move forward. To release the weight of pain, worries, and everything in between. And the best part? God meets every one of us right where we are.

You could feel it in every moment. The peace, the freedom, the reminder that none of us are walking this alone.
