Our lesson tonight was on conduct; specifically how you conduct yourself daily and how you are a reflection of The Lord, yourself, and your family. Why was that lesson important you may ask?
Well let me tell you about God!
Today was childrenâs meal, so I got to church early to begin prepping. Pastor Bryant walked in and said âhave you read this?â And handed me a letter with a canvas print. (I have attached all for you to read) When we return from Strength to Stand, thereâs always a âhighâ from being with thousands of other young people worshiping The Lord. The music, speakers, pastors, and the STS staff (especially Kasey) work extremely hard to make our time there as God fulfilling as possible. Of course, this year was no different.
Back to the letter⌠this letter made me cry ugly (happy) tears. The fact that their conduct made an impression on other youth and their leaders speak volumes. I ENCOURAGE YOU⌠BEG YOU⌠PLEAD WITH YOU⌠if the spirit moves you, RAISE YOUR HAND! STAND UP, GET ON YOUR KNEES AND PRAY⌠whatever The Lord has laid on your heart, DO IT!! Someone else may want to do it too, but they are waiting on someone else to do it first! There is ALWAYS someone watching! You are an inspiration to others.
I love you all and thank you for being such Godly examples to YOUR youth!
Ms. Lisa - we hope you see this! THANK YOU for your letter and the plaque! Most of all, THANK YOU for reminding us that no matter where we are and no matter what the situation, we can constantly praise! We love you and your church BIG!
We think youâre from Mexico Baptist Church in Mexico, KY. Please reach out so we can correspond with you!!
The last pic is one taken by Nicole Melugin. When I sent her this tonight, she shared what picture she took! Thank you, Nicole! đĽ°đĽ°
