Vida Impact Missions Working closely with local missionaries, Donald and Becky tirelessly share the Gospel with the people in the Circle of Silence.

Donald was born and raised in the surrounding rural villages of Kampala, Uganda and underwent three years of homelessness and child abuse as he sought to survive in Kenya. Nevertheless, through God’s grace, he studied business administration in a college in the UK. He came to know the Lord in 1996 through the testimony of a young man, but his total surrender to the Lord occurred in 2001 when he re

ad the bible for the first time. He was impacted so much when he found out what Christ did to save him that he decided to leave a promising life in England, to go and take the Good News to the unreached in Mexico. To this day he continues to enjoy inspiring others from all walks of life to abandon their lives to Jesus and to advance the Kingdom of God. Becky was born and raised in suburban England. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior at the age of 13. It wasn’t long after this that she went through a life changing experience of losing her only sister to cancer. Although she had a keen desire to know the Lord, she only got to fully understand the meaning of a gospel centered life in 2004 when she started attending church, where she also got baptized. Her faith grew further while at the university finishing a degree in Physical Therapy and working in London. At the end of 2012, she left her job, family, friends and life in England to join Donald and serve in Mexico. As she continues to walk with the Lord today she desires to see others, especially young women, impacted by God’s grace, abandon their lives in loving and serving Him. Donald and Becky met as they served as children church leaders in their church in Eastbourne, England. Their passion for missions first saw them as part of a short team trip to the Ukraine in 2005. Having been friends for over nine years, they got married in 2013, when Becky also moved permanently to Mexico. Both worked in San Pedro, Mexico, a region where drug addiction and cartels are rampant. Their endeavors saw them minister in prisons, drug rehabilitation centers, while at the same time engaging young people through a sports ministry, running a missions school and planting churches in the rural areas. They are both now working in an area known as the “Circle of Silence” in Mexico, a region with 115 counties with 1% or less evangelical Christians. They focus on mobilizing, training, sending and mentoring leaders while planting churches. At the same time they love to share their faith through Vida Impact’s children’s programs and are excited how God is using them. In Becky’s own words, “We are just ordinary people trying to be obedient to the Lord by making disciples!”
