Father God, thank You for covering the brokenhearted with Your love today. Thank You for repairing the broken spirit with Your Word. Thank You for removing the chains and shackles from the frustrated. Thank You for restoring the joy that has been trampled by the overwhelming feelings of inadequacy. Thank You for the enemy's strongholds that are losing their grip on the lives of many.

Thank You for new mercies today; for fresh eyes that are seeing things clearer; for new steps of faith; for strength through the tears and boldness through the fears. Thank You for minds that are changing focus from the big problem to You, the bigger God!

Praise Your Name! In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Father God, we worship You today as a family of believers. We set aside our church affiliations, our political alliances, our personal agendas, our cultural biases, and anything else that keeps us from honoring You. Even though we will worship You in separate places, may we unite spiritually. We come to praise Your Name, to glorify You, to give and receive Your Word, to pray fervently and to love each other out loud.

We surrender this day of corporate worship to You. We thank You for the privilege of being a part of Your Kingdom, excited to be where You called us to be and to do what You called us to do!

In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Our Father and our God, we are in awe of Your matchless power, Your wondrous works, Your endless compassion, Your amazing grace, Your profound wisdom, Your generous love and Your undying faithfulness.

Today, we unite in prayer as Your children, in admiration and praise for You. We glorify Your Name not based on what we receive from You, but based on who You are!

To be a part of Your Kingdom, to be a vessel in Your work, to walk in the light of Your salvation and stand on Your promises is an indescribable place of contentment. We offer this prayer of thanksgiving, praise and worship this morning to You, focusing on the incredible blessing it is to be Your child.

In this world of uncertainty, we can firmly stand on Your promises, enveloped in Your love, trusting in Your Word. That alone brings us peace in the midst of chaos, light in the darkness and refuge in the storms. Thank You!

Father God, there are so many things to thank You for. There are so many people and things to pray for. I admit that sometimes, I struggle with thanking You first and foremost. I forget in the midst of praying for the struggles of others and my own, that You are so much bigger than the struggle.

We never have to depend on our strength or the strength of others. We never have to be intimidated by the enemy's darts or even our own shortcomings, because Your strength is amazing and Your grace is sufficient.

This morning instead of praying about the struggle, I want to thank You for the victory; the victory that turns our grief into loving memories of every moment of life; the victory that turns our pain into comfort just at the moment we feel that it will overtake us completely; the victory that shows us the growth that has come from the challenges; the victory that allows us to share Your Word with someone who has lost hope, even as we go through things.

We are grateful that You are our God and our Father. There is nothing too difficult for You. There are no circumstances, no situations, no mountains, no valleys, nothing at all that can move You from Your throne! Thank You for watching over us directing our path and loving us through it all.

Father God, I pray that we will pray before we speak. I pray that we will understand the beauty in fully listening so that we don't respond quickly to something we thought we heard or didn't fully understand.

I pray that we will come to understand the power of the words we speak and the impact they can have on someone's life. I pray that when we engage in our next conversations, we will pray for an understanding of what the other person is saying and if we're not sure, we will ask questions; otherwise we may find ourselves engaging in meaningless rhetoric that can damage their spirit.

I pray that we will stop missing opportunities to be a light in someone's life; to be an encourager to someone; to help someone through a patch of difficulty; to lead someone to Your truth - all because we are more focused on our own opinions about the situation.

Father, help us to actively listen under the direction of the Holy Spirit. Today we are challenged to engage in real conversations that aren't jaded with selfish motives and self promotion. Thank You for new insight; new revelations; and new perspectives that will take place simply because we choose to listen.

Thank You for the assignment that we have today and the privilege we have to really hear what we need to hear from someone who needs to be heard! In the Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

Father God, thank You that prayer changes things. Thank You that prayer keeps us in touch with You. Thank You that prayer puts us in a place of quiet where we can hear You and not just do all of the talking.

Thank You for the privilege of prayer; for the power of prayer; and for the peace that prayer brings to our lives. Today we humble ourselves before Your throne of grace, in a prayerful posture, relying on our faith in You, acknowledging who You are, basking in the glory of our God and our Father!
